An Artful Path to Holistic Wellness

April 25-27, 2025 | Marshall, NC

I’m thrilled to announce that our Fundamentals of Therapeutic Arts training has evolved from an online format to an immersive, in-person retreat! While we’re saddened that Hurricane Helene impacted our original location, this shift allows us to gather in a beautiful home in Marshall, NC.

Join us for this special retreat-style training, where you’ll enjoy nourishing meals, inspiring sessions, and an option to stay onsite for a fully immersive experience.

Whether you’re an artist, mental health specialist, caregiver, coach, social worker, educator, or community leader, you have the potential to elevate both your practice and the welfare of your clients through the tool of creative expression. During the retreat style training, I will guide you in harnessing and channeling this innate artistic wisdom using an empirically-backed, immersive approach.

Ella's Fundamentals of Therapeutic Art-making Workshop FAR exceeded my expectations. Her knowledgeable, patient, and kind approach, the generosity of the creative invitations, processes and resources, a group of interesting, warm and like-minded people, the opportunity to make art, reflect and ponder the possibilities, and an awesome playlist, made for a perfect 3 days. I wish it had been longer.
